NCS Goes Across the Pond

This summer, some NCS students, faculty, and parents went on a WWII themed trip to Europe. They went to England, France, Belgium, Germany, and Austria.

This trip cost roughly $5,000 dollars for 2 weeks, including plane tickets, breakfast and lunch, tours, hotels, and transportation. You were responsible for your lunch and any extra things you wanted to buy. I also went on this trip, and I can say that it is one of the best choices I’ve made and I learned so much. Everyone should go to Europe sometime in their lives.

Allie Hunter, 11th grade, said, “I am beyond grateful that I had the opportunity to go to Europe this summer. I had an incredible time seeing new things and experiencing new cultures. Fundraising was hard, but don’t let the big price tag discourage you from going on the trip. It was 100% worth it.” Allie said this about her experience on the trip and fundraising for the trip.

Many students made homemade things to sell to raise money for the trip. For example, Hunter made and sold sugar scrubs. I made pies and sold them for holidays. Everyone had a different way of paying to go to Europe.

This summer, NCS will be taking a group to Italy and Greece. The summer after that, they will be going to Scotland and Ireland. I highly recommend for everyone to join in on one of these amazing trips and it will be an experience you will never forget.
