Here are some things that students at Nashville Christian School will miss about campus over the summer:
For many of our students, friends are the biggest thing they will miss. Annabelle Haneline (10) said she will miss seeing her friends, while Luke Armstrong (10) and Kayden Walker (11) both shared that they will miss seeing their friends every day at school. Lachy Powells (9) will miss being with his friends during class everyday. Being around classmates daily is something many students do not realize they enjoy until summer begins.
Sports and activities are another big part of school life that students will miss. LA Ortiz (11) said he will miss messing around with friends in class and his junior year baseball season. Henry Simpson (9) also said he will miss baseball season, while Joci Waggoner (9) shared that she will miss the tennis team. Josh Peffer (10) said he will miss his teachers and playing soccer during the school year.
Some students mentioned more personal parts of school that make their days special. Brett Bliemeister (9) said he will miss having his brother, Moose Bliemeister (12), at the same school as him next year. Since Moose is graduating, this year was their last year being together in school. London Biggs (10) said she will miss Mr. Atkins’ journalism class, and Isabella Medure (10) shared that she will miss having a daily schedule to stick to.
Lily Malstadht (10) said she will miss sitting with her lunch table and spending time with her small group led by Hannah Elledge.
Jalen March (10) is going to miss seeing her friends, her teachers, and sticking to a schedule every day at school.
Although students are ready for summer, many say they will still miss the people, sports, classes, and memories that make school special.
