A day in the Life of a Student at NCS

Nashville Christian School has many students with so many different schedules. Some have sports in the afternoon, some have to wake up early to get ready, and some have to drive over an hour to get to school. Maya Lundsett and Charlotte Fergueson, are sophomore’s at NCS, and have shared their daily routine as being a student at NCS.

Maya wakes up every weekday at 6:10 to get ready. Once she is done getting ready, she doesn’t normally eat breakfast but will have an occasional coffee every now and then and leaves for school. Her parents take her to school and when she gets there, she socializes before the bell rings. On her B-day schedule, she has Spanish with Mrs. Valdez as her first block, then goes to break afterwards. For her second block, she has English with Ms. Bentley. Once she is done with English, she heads off to Bible with Mr. Barham and has her lunch block in between his class. When she goes to lunch, she sits with her friends outside at Legacy Park. “I like to sit with my friends at the Legacy Park when it’s nice outside.” After Bible is over, she heads to her last class of the day, which is Geometry with Mrs. Payne. Maya doesn’t do sports for Nashville Christian, she just heads straight home. She eats dinner and does her homework if she has any. Once that is all done, she starts getting ready for bed at 8:45 and then goes to sleep around 10.

Charlotte wakes up every day for school at 5:55. She starts getting ready for the day and leaves for school at 6:30 with her mom. Charlotte doesn’t eat breakfast in the mornings. “I don’t eat breakfast.” She arrives to school at 7:00 and just chills until it’s time for her to go to her first class. On her A-day schedule, she has Ms. Sholl for AP Human Geography, then once that class is over she goes to Chapel with the rest of her class. Once that is over, she goes to her Chemistry class with Mrs. Moroney for her second block. Later on, She goes to her Spanish class with Mrs. Valdez and also has her lunch block during then. When that class is over, she heads to her last block of the day, Art with Ms. Torrez. When school is finally over, she leaves with her mom at 3:15 and goes to her cheer practice which is in Hendersonville. She is there from 4:00-9:00 every day. Once her practice is over, she gets dinner and heads home to get ready for bed and goes to sleep around 12.

These 2 students have very different lives with different hobbies, extra-curricular’s, and days. Even though they both have different things going on, they are still connected through Nashville Christian.
