Mr. Cobb is the CFO of Nashville Christian School. I take his amazing business class and get to hear all about the tips and tricks of job interviews, resumes, and how to succeed in the business field. For example, while I was taking his class I was motivated to get a job which I have been working in for over four months. He is an amazing business man, but an even better mentor. I went up to him in my journalism class and asked him, “What advice would you give for the students going into college. What will take stress off and make things easier?”
Mr. Cobb replied, “I would say it all comes down to preparation, I think the more your prepared the better off you’ll be and that can apply for anything in life. Plan. If you fail to plan, plan to fail. The key is to always plan and prepare. I’ve found that if I plan and prepare things to go my way then they work out to my good. If I don’t prepare and if I don’t plan that’s when I usually struggle and things don’t go my way.”
