Two weeks remain as students work day and night on the play Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe. This is a student-produced play, directed by sophomore Blake McKinney. Junior Kassie Perez is the stage manager and sophomore Maggie Shivers is the set designer. Grades 5 through 12 find as much time as possible to rehearse lines with friends or rehearse individually by deadline. The performances will be April 25th and April 26th, but times are still unknown. Here’s what Nashville Christian students have to say about this play.
“I feel like this is going to turn out really well,” says 7th grader Emily Batty. “There’s still a lot of work that needs to be done, but I like where the play overall is going and I feel like this is going to be a really good play.”
“I think the play will be very good and detailed,” says sophomore director Blake McKinney. “It’s probably going to be a lot different from the numerous Disney plays that we’ve been doing lately, but I think this will be a more serious play. I think that everyone will have fun and the play will be great overall.”
