The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is a student produced play directed by Blake McKinney featuring 7th-12th students. The dates of the shows are April 25,26. Also, come support Nathaniel Dorris and watch the play to help pay for medical needs on Sunday April, 26.
The play is based on the book and is a little shorter than movie. If you’ve seen the movie or read the book, then you know that the story is more than just a story. The meaning or lesson of the play is that Aslan represents Jesus and the witch is the devil. Aslan has control of everything until the witch makes everything winter and appears to execute Aslan. Although the witch seems to win, Aslan rises from the dead.
Some of the lead roles are:
- Jack Forte as Peter, the nice, older brother
- Bailey Forte as Edmund, the mean, younger brother
- Makenna Paszek as Susan, the nice, older sister
- Emily Batty as Lucy, the cute, little sister
- Hendrick Shelton as Aslan
- Hope Lovell as the Witch.
So, come see the play on April 25, and 26 and help Nathaniel Dorris pay for his medical needs. You know you want to! You won’t be sorry! This is a must see!
