Whether you’re starting a new show to watch or binge-watching seasons, Netflix has always been the hub for new shows and movies. Anything from horror to sappy romantics you can experience and get with Netflix. For those of you living under a rock, Netflix is an American media services provider and production company meaning they provide shows and movies of all kinds. With new releases each week, month, and year, Netflix is constantly providing us with the latest shows and movies. Right the top ten trending shows and movies on Netflix include:

10. The Green Hornet

Released in 2011, The Green Hornet is a movie showcasing a hard-partying heir who dons a disguise to fight crime after hours. But with no talent or skills, he relies on his friend, a martial-arts genius. 


Coming in at number 9, the second season of All American has reached Netflix’s top ten again. All American released its first season in 2019, but just recently came out with a second. All American is a show where cultures clash and brewing rivalries test a team football player from South Los Angeles when he’s recruited to the Beverly Hills High School team.

8. The Innocence Files

Coming in at number eight, The Innocence Files covers a story based on The Innocence Project as it unravels missteps and deceit in a series of wrongful convictions, exposing the injustice inflicted on victims and the accused.

7. Ozark

Being in the top ten as soon as it came out, Ozark is a show explaining the radical plan of Marty as his business partner cheats a dangerous client. Marty comes up with a plan to save the lives of himself and his family.

6. #Blackaf

Ranking in at number 6, #Blackaf is a show starring Kenya Barris and his family to navigate relationships, race, and culture while grappling with their newfound success in this comedy series.

5. Tiger King

Being in the top ten since the release, Tiger King is a show where a zoo owner spirals out of control amid a cast of eccentric characters in a true murder-for-hire  story from the underworld of big cat breeding. 

4. Waco

Based on true stories, Waco is a show about federal authorities tempting to seize a religious compound, but a standoff with its prophetic and his followers ensue.

3. Despicable Me

Coming in at number three, Despicable Me, a popular movie, tells a villainous Gru as he hatches a plan to steal the moon from the sky. But he has a tough time staying on task as three orphans land in his care.

2. Outer Banks

With being a new release and the second on the top ten charts, Outer Banks has gained a lot of interest. Outer Banks is a show where John B living on an island of haves and have-nots gathers his friends to look for a legendary treasure linked to his father’s disappearance. 

1. Too Hot to Handle

With only being out for four days, Too Hot to Handle takes the number one spot. Too Hot to Handle is a show where singles officially meet and make plans for a steamy retreat. Meanwhile, a high-tech hostess gets ready to drop a serious bombshell. $100,000 is at stake, will they be able to survive?
