As winter comes to an end, students at NCS are starting to notice the change that spring brings to the school. The weather is getting warmer, the days are getting longer, and many students are excited to spend more time outside. After months of colder weather, the arrival of spring has created a more positive and energetic atmosphere around campus.
One of the biggest changes students have noticed is how much more time people are spending outside. During lunch or even class, many students choose to go outdoors to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine at the Legacy Park. Groups of friends can often be seen talking, laughing, and relaxing outside instead of staying indoors. Even teachers have noticed that students seem to be in better moods when the weather is nice.
Spring also means that the school year is starting to get closer to the end. While students are still focused on their classes and assignments, many are also thinking ahead to summer break. “I’m excited for the big events and for school to be out soon!” said Olivia Emerson. For seniors, this time of year is especially important because graduation is getting closer. For underclassmen, spring can feel like the final push before the school year ends.
Another exciting part of spring is the start of spring sports. Many NCS students are involved in sports like baseball, softball, track, and other activities. Practices and games have started, and students enjoy going to watch and support their classmates. School spirit often grows during this time as students come together to cheer for their teams.
Overall, spring brings a fresh start and a new sense of energy to the school. The warmer weather, outdoor activities, and upcoming events give students something to look forward to as the school year continues. As the weeks go on, many students at NCS are hoping for more sunny days and a strong finish to the school year.
